KLASSIKWELT BODENSEE 2027 in Friedrichshafen

KLASSIKWELT BODENSEE is the classic-mobility show at Messe Friedrichshafen. It was formerly known as Motorworld Classics Bodensee and has been held since 2008. The 2027 edition runs from 4 to 6 June. Its motto, zu Lande, zu Wasser und in der Luft, sums up what sets it apart: classic cars and motorcycles share the site with historic boats and aircraft.

In 2026 (12-14 June) the event drew 40,600 visitors, up from 40,300 in 2025. Around 800 exhibitors, clubs and participants filled twelve halls, the open-air areas and the Messe-See lake. More than 2,000 youngtimers and oldtimers were on show. A 1.6 km circuit on the exhibition grounds lets historic racing and sports cars run rather than just stand.

The show mixes trade and scene. Restoration specialists and dealers stand next to the carefully kept cars of brand clubs, so a visit can serve buyers and parts hunters as well as anyone wanting a day out. Many visitors arrive in their own classics, and the free Oldtimer-Parkarena has become a meeting point in its own right. Messe Friedrichshafen also runs MOTORRADWELT BODENSEE each January, so the region has two classic-adjacent shows a year.

The site is at the north of Friedrichshafen near the airport, which makes it easy to reach from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
