Espíritu de Montjuïc 2027, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Espíritu de Montjuïc revives the spirit of Barcelona's old Montjuïc street circuit on the modern Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya at Montmeló. The 2027 edition is set for 2-4 April 2027, according to the official site. It is organised by Escudería Targa Iberia, with Peter Auto as the racing partner in recent editions.

The festival combines serious historic racing with a period-themed paddock. In 2026 (27-29 March) the Le Mans Classic Series by Peter Auto opened its season here, running ten hours of track action a day from 9:00 to 19:00. On the final day there were eight races and a Formula 1 demonstration. In 2025 Autohebdo Sport reported 330 cars in nine categories and 14 races.

Away from the track, the paddock becomes a vintage village with stalls, fairground attractions, period music and car exhibitions. In 2026 the programme included a tribute to Emilio de Villota, presented with the Trofeo Nuvolari by Escudería Barcelona. There were also an American cars and hot rod display inspired by American Graffiti, a gathering for the 80th anniversary of the Vespa, and historic aircraft overflights.

Owners can take part too. The festival sells a ticket for arriving in a classic or youngtimer, with a classic car gathering behind the main grandstand, and a Premium Parking ticket that places your car in a reserved paddock zone.
