The 2027 Golden Age of Motoring Sale is expected to keep its slot as the Friday-before-Brighton auction at Bonhams' New Bond Street saleroom. The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run follows a first-Sunday-of-November rule, which points to Sunday 7 November 2027. On that pattern the sale would be on Friday 5 November 2027, the date we hold, but Bonhams has not confirmed it.
The sale specialises in veteran, Edwardian, vintage and pre-war cars, often with Brighton Run eligibility, alongside a substantial automobilia session. The October 2026 edition was built around 'The Somerset Hoard' of veteran cars led by a 1904 Darracq. The 2025 sale was topped by the 1902 'Bolster' Panhard et Levassor. Collectors hoping to buy a car for the 2027 Run should treat this sale as one of the main opportunities of the year. Consignments for the 2027 catalogue will be announced by Bonhams in due course.

The Golden Age of Motoring Sale has been held on the Friday before the Brighton Run in recent years, on 31 October 2025 and 30 October 2026.
