The Salon Privé Sloane Street Concours returns for its second edition on Saturday 10 April 2027, turning part of one of London's best-known shopping streets into an open-air car display. It acts as the curtain-raiser for Salon Privé London, which follows at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on 15-17 April 2027.
The first edition, on Saturday 11 April 2026, was free to attend and ran from 11:00 to 17:00. It used the stretch of Sloane Street between Harriet Street and Cadogan Place, with Jumeirah Carlton Tower as a focal point and the fronts of fashion houses as the backdrop. Its theme was 'old versus new', pairing historic cars with modern hypercars. Magneto counted 25 cars. Highlights included the Aston Martin Valhalla and Ferrari SF90 XX alongside Joe Macari's McLaren F1 GTR and Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, a Maserati MC12 GT1 racer, and DD Classics' 1961 Jaguar E-type flat-floor roadster at the Carlton Tower. Boutique makers also exhibited, among them the Encor Series 1 Esprit restomod, the Automotive Artisans R33 and the Nichols N1A, and visitors could enquire about buying any car on show.
Judging was unusual. The 2026 winners were chosen by a panel of Royal College of Art automotive design students. Octane described the debut as small in scale but a concise cross-section of what the main show offers. Magneto reported packed crowds.
The 2027 line-up, times and judging details had not been published at the time of writing. Expect the same mix of classics, restomods and hypercars at street level.
First held on Saturday 11 April 2026 with 25 cars on Sloane Street. 2027 is the second edition.
Location: Sloane Street, London SW1/SW3. In 2026 the display ran between Harriet Street and Cadogan Place, 11:00-17:00, free entry. 2027 times to be confirmed. Nearest Underground stations are Knightsbridge and Sloane Square.
