Retromóvil Madrid 2026

Retromóvil Madrid is the senior classic vehicle show in the Spanish capital. Its 23rd edition takes place at IFEMA Madrid on 11-13 December 2026. Note the date: the show was first announced for 27-29 November and has moved to mid-December.

The centrepiece for 2026 is a special exhibition for the 75th anniversary of the Pegaso Z-102. The Spanish sports car was first presented in 1951, and only 86 were built between 1951 and 1958. Alongside it is a tribute to engineer Wifredo Ricart, who led the Z-102's development. It includes early models from his own company, Motores y Automóviles Ricart, founded in 1926, together with unpublished photographs, original parts and talks. A virtual reality experience, Ricart Cars, is presented by Miguel Fenollosa Ricart.

The 2026 edition also brings back a Concurso de Elegancia organised by the Veteran Car Club, judging beauty, authenticity and preservation. The rest of the show covers the full classic world: specialist dealers, restorers, spare parts, automobilia and clubs. The organiser lists a Club Station area for clubs and a Corral Garage area.

Retromóvil has built a large audience. The 2025 edition drew close to 30,000 visitors, according to the Spanish classic car site MiClásico, and it hosted an in-person classic car auction by Melvin Auctions.

The show runs Friday and Saturday into the evening and closes mid-afternoon on Sunday, so plan a weekday or Saturday visit if you want time with the exhibition and the stands.
