The Schauinsland Klassik grew out of the historic Schauinsland hill climb and is one of the largest classic rallies in south-west Germany. ADAC Südbaden, with the Freiburger Motorsport-Club, has announced the 2027 edition for 30-31 July.
In 2026 the 19th edition sent about 120 cars from five countries, built between 1937 and 1993, over roughly 500 km with 52 time and passage controls and 17 tests, navigated by roadbook only. Both days start and finish at Messe Freiburg. On Friday evening, around 19:30, the cars arrive on the Münsterplatz, where a commentator introduces each one. Saturday's route climbs the old Schauinsland hill-climb road.
The weekend ends on Sunday with the separate Oldtimertreffen at Messe Freiburg.
The 2025 edition marked 100 years of the ADAC Schauinsland hill climb. The 2026 rally was the 19th.
Start and finish at Messe Freiburg, with the Friday finish on Münsterplatz, Freiburg im Breisgau. The 2027 schedule and entry details are not yet published. Watching along the route and on Münsterplatz was free in past years.
