Grand Meeting 2027 at Rittergut Birkhof, Korschenbroich

The Grand Meeting is the summer festival of classic cars, motorsport and lifestyle. According to German Wikipedia, it began in 2006 as the Classic Days at Schloss Dyck, in memory of Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips. Since 2025 it has carried the Grand Meeting name and taken place at Rittergut Birkhof in Korschenbroich near Düsseldorf. The 2027 dates have been announced by the organiser as 30 July to 1 August. The non-profit Classic Days e.V. is the event's ideal sponsor, staging the festival with the Rittergut Birkhof foundation.

The format is wide-ranging, with more than twelve festival areas in 2026. Highlights include a concours d'elegance in the park of the manor house, demonstration runs on a temporary circuit and a legends terrace where racing drivers sign autographs. Visitors picnic under the chestnut avenue, and there are themed meetings from Land Rover and VW Bulli gatherings to US cars, race transporters, trucks and buses.

The 2026 edition shows the level the event aims for. The Bugatti Royale Type 41 Coupé de Ville with Binder body from the Volkswagen and Autostadt collection was on display. A Porsche special run included the 917 ex David Piper with a 907, 906 and a 356 record car, 12 Bentleys took part in a special heat, and a driver parade featured Derek Bell, Vanina Ickx, Klaus Ludwig and Freddie Hunt. Giacomo Agostini was also a guest. According to kfz-betrieb, around 3,500 classics were expected over the weekend in 2026, and day tickets started at EUR 28.
