RallyClassics has announced the XXIII Rallye d'Hivern for 16 January 2027 in Viladrau, describing it as a regularity event for classic vehicles on legendary roads. The rally traditionally opens the regularity season in Catalonia, with night sections on the Rally Costa Brava roads of the Montseny, Les Guilleries and the surrounding area.
In 2026 the XXII edition was on the FIVA calendar (FR 31/2026), based at the Plaça Major, Viladrau. Eighty-five teams from Belgium, France, Andorra and across Spain took part, and David Garrigolas and Jordi Boix won in a Volkswagen Golf GTI after more than 200 km and eight regularity stages. The prize-giving was held in Viladrau close to midnight.
The 2025 edition had 90 teams. Entry cost €250, or €105 for the morning-only Rally-Sprint section, and cars built up to 11 January 2000 were accepted. In 2024 the 20th edition reached full capacity with 99 cars.
The 2027 running is the 23rd edition. In 2026 the rally was on the FIVA calendar with 85 teams, and in 2024 it reached full capacity with 99 cars.
