Iconic Auctioneers (formerly Silverstone Auctions) returns to the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham for its 15th year as the show's official auction partner. It is the company's last auction of 2026, held as four live sales. On Saturday 14 November the Iconic Automobilia Sale starts at 10:00 and the Iconic Sale of collectors' cars at 11:00. On Sunday 15 November the Classic Sale of classic, modern and retro cars starts at 10:00 and the Iconic Motorcycle Sale at 10:30.
The catalogue has headline lots for several kinds of collector. On the motorcycle side, Iconic is offering the works Honda RC173 that carried Mike Hailwood to the 1966 350cc World Championship, along with a collection of historic racing bikes ridden by well-known MotoGP and Isle of Man TT names. Saturday's car sale includes Harry Metcalfe's 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8, which he owned from new, and a group of poster cars from Lamborghini, Porsche and BMW. It also includes cars offered directly by Jeremy Clarkson, among them a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6.
Sunday's Classic Sale is a more accessible entry point, with cars such as a Bentley T2, a one-owner Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG and a Jaguar Mk 10 3.8. In mid-October 2026 the catalogues listed 87 entries in the Iconic Sale, 117 in the Classic Sale, 193 in the Motorcycle Sale and 35 in the Automobilia Sale.
The sales are streamed live on the Iconic Auctioneers website and YouTube channel. Bidding in person requires a Classic Motor Show ticket.
