Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort 2027

Friday, August 27, 2027 - Sunday, August 29, 2027

🇳🇱Circuit Zandvoort • Zandvoort, Netherlands

Let us know you're coming

The Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort, the Netherlands' leading historic race meeting, is listed for 27 to 29 August 2027, a move from its usual mid-June slot. Circuit Zandvoort's own calendar shows these dates, and British organiser Motor Racing Legends has added the event to its 2027 calendar for the same weekend. The event's own website had not yet announced the 2027 edition at the time of writing, so the dates come from the circuit while full details are awaited.

The move comes after the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix, traditionally held at Zandvoort in late August, left the calendar following its final race on 21 to 23 August 2026.

The 2026 edition, held from 19 to 21 June, shows what to expect. Historic Formula 1 cars were split into two classes, Historic Grand Prix Cars for machines from 1947 to 1965 and Masters Racing Legends for later cars. They were joined by the F2 and F3 Classic Interseries, Masters Sportscar Legends, Masters Endurance Legends, Masters Gentlemen Drivers, Super Sixties, Tourenwagen Legenden and the Dutch HARC 82-90 championship. Every class ran qualifying and two races, the single-seaters had Friday practice, and Friday ended with a parade through the centre of Zandvoort. Demonstrations by the Dutch Vintage Sports Car Club and a club parade filled gaps in the Sunday programme.

Circuit Zandvoort describes the weekend as a combination of historic motorsport and a full programme of side activities, with music and barbecues for families and groups of friends. For 2027, Motor Racing Legends will bring its grids to the meeting. Grids, the timetable and ticket prices for 2027 had not been published at the time of writing.
