Padova Only Classics 2027 at the Fiera di Padova

Padova Only Classics is a new classic vehicle fair that brings historic motoring back to the Fiera di Padova. Its first edition runs from 26 to 28 February 2027, organised by Intermeeting in collaboration with, and under the aegis of, Auto e Moto d'Epoca BolognaFiere. Its full title, Fiera delle eccellenze motoristiche 1886-1977, sums up the idea.

The admission rules are deliberately strict. Only cars and motorcycles with at least 50 years of history are accepted, covering the period from the origins of motoring to the 1970s, and youngtimers are excluded. The organisers describe a format of less quantity and more quality, designed to give space to significant models that are increasingly under-represented at the big international shows, which are shifting towards more recent production. Each vehicle is meant to become part of a wider story of technical progress, design culture and collecting.

The return to Padua carries symbolic weight. For decades the city was a European reference point for collectors, restorers and traders, and Auto e Moto d'Epoca was held there for 39 years before moving to Bologna in 2023. Intermeeting CEO Luciano Rizzi presented the new fair as a high-profile project born of the collaboration with Auto e Moto d'Epoca BolognaFiere. BolognaFiere Group CEO Antonio Bruzzone said it keeps faith with the commitment to the city of Padua and widens BolognaFiere's presence in historic motoring.

For collectors whose interest stops before the late 1970s, this promises to be the most focused Italian fair of the early season. Exhibitor lists, programme, opening hours and ticket prices have not yet been published, and as a first edition there are no past results or visitor figures to go on.
