FuoriConcorso 2027, Como

FuoriConcorso is the contemporary counterpoint to the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, staged in historic villas in Como on the same May weekend. The organisers have not yet announced the 2027 dates or theme. Because the event coincides with the Concorso, and the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este lists the 2027 Concorso for 21-23 May, FuoriConcorso 2027 is expected that weekend, but this is not yet confirmed.

Founded by Guglielmo Miani in 2019, FuoriConcorso builds each edition around a theme that tells a different chapter of automotive history. The main exhibition is set in the lakeside gardens of Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, with iconic cars, concept cars and prototypes. There are no class winners: Miani has said the important point is that there are no winners or losers, and that he prefers sharing experiences, culture and cars to a competition.

The 2025 edition, Velocissimo, celebrated Italian motorsport heritage at Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota. In 2026 the theme was KraftMeister, an exploration of German automotive culture held on 16 and 17 May across Villa del Grumello, Villa Sucota and Villa Olmo. It brought together 72 cars, six world premieres, 16 automotive partners and 19 lifestyle and technical partners, with Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and BMW supporting with motorsport and classic cars, and smaller firms such as HOF, Brabus and Ruf showing new machinery. Villa Olmo hosted the global debut of Helmut Newton Cars, 38 previously unseen works on the car as subject, open to the public with free admission for 45 days. The Conversations programme offered informal talks, with Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish among the 2026 guests.

Beyond Como, the team has spoken of events in Milan around the Italian Grand Prix, rallies, a book for 2027 and a permanent space in Milan for the FuoriConcorso community.
