Square Mountain by Night Rally 2026

The Square Mountain by Night Rally is a new evening event from the organisers of the Square Mountain Rally, who have run tours for historic cars and youngtimers through Twente and the Achterhoek since 2013. It takes place on Friday 30 October 2026.

Crews are received from 18:00 at S2 Classic Cars, Goudstraat 23, Hengelo, where a snack van serves chips and snacks. The briefing is at 19:00 and the first crew starts at 19:15. The route covers about 120 km of Twente roads in the dark and finishes at Het Schuttershoes, Scholtenhagenweg 40b, Haaksbergen. Drinks at the finish are at your own cost.

The rally uses the Rallycheck app for the first time. GPS-based digital controls replace the traditional route-check boards, and crews receive a digital control card and a replay of their route afterwards. Entry is open only to cars built before 2000. It costs EUR 50 per crew of two, plus EUR 25 for each extra person, and includes the route book, rally plate and food at the start.
