Race Retro returns to Stoneleigh Park near Coventry on 19-21 February 2027 under its new name, Race Retro - The Motorsport Show. The organisers say it has been at the heart of UK motorsport for over two decades, and the new name reflects a wider scope. The retro DNA stays central, with Group B legends on the live rally stage and classic competition cars as the centrepiece, but the show now also reaches out to modern club racers, preparers and businesses across the sport.
The 2026 show, held on 20-22 February, recorded 24,390 visitors, up from 23,229 in 2025. Octane called it the event's most successful edition since the pandemic. On Saturday and Sunday, 120 Group A, B and C rally cars competed on two mixed-surface stages in the grounds, which is consistently the most popular part of the weekend. Inside, the Talk Motorsport stage hosted names including BTCC champion Tom Ingram, rally driver Kalle Grundel and co-driver Nicky Grist.
Race Retro is also a practical pre-season stop. Motorsport UK, the governing body for four-wheeled motorsport, is expanding its presence for 2027. In 2026 it renewed more than 160 competition licences over the weekend and advised on regulations and technical questions. Race series, clubs and specialist traders fill the halls, and in 2026 brands such as Stilo, Radical and Caterham took stands.
Clarion Events organises Race Retro alongside the Practical Classics Restoration Show and the NEC Classic Motor Show.
