Drive It Day Scotland Tour 2027

Classic Car Tours' Drive It Day Scotland reaches its 15th edition on Sunday 25 April 2027. For 2027 the route heads south into the Scottish Borders.

The day starts at the Dakota Hotel in Motherwell with breakfast and registration. Each car receives numbered roundels and route information before the drivers' briefing. The first car leaves at 09:15, with others following at 30-second intervals.

The route runs through Peebles, along the River Tweed and through Lauder, Stow and Gordon to lunch in the Courtyard Restaurant at Floors Castle, near Kelso, where parking is reserved at the front of the castle. After lunch the convoy crosses to Duns for a visit to the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, which displays trophies from the double world champion's career alongside period cars linked to him.

The tour runs under a motorsport touring assembly permit and is open to vintage, veteran, classic, sports, prestige and modern performance cars. Entry is limited to 30 vehicles, so early booking is sensible.
