23. ASC-Classic-Gala Schwetzingen 2027 - Concours d'Elegance

The ASC-Classic-Gala Schwetzingen describes itself as Germany's most tradition-rich international concours d'elegance. Its 23rd edition takes place from 27 to 29 August 2027, with Friday 27 August as preview day, in the Baroque garden of Schloss Schwetzingen. The event is run by autoconsult Johannes Hübner together with the Allgemeiner Schnauferl-Club (ASC), and project lead is Wolfgang Gauf.

An international jury judges the cars by FIVA categories, from pre-war classics and luxury sports cars to post-war small cars and one-off bodies by well-known designers. For 2026 the FIVA calendar listed 160 entries with vehicles eligible from 1895 to 1996, under ADAC Klassik as national authority. Alongside the main concours runs a separate US Classic Car Concours, which reached its 14th edition in 2026.

The setting matters as much as the cars. The organisers combine the concours with live music, an art exhibition and culinary stands, and the event has been named one of the greatest concours by The Concours Year. The 2026 edition was built around 100 years of Maserati, Passione Dino (Fiat and Ferrari Dinos around the Hirschbrunnen), 90 years of the BMW 328 and Héritage Peugeot. Themes for 2027 had not been published at the time of writing.

Entrants can apply now via the 2027 entry form. It offers a full concours package at EUR 450 or basic participation at EUR 250. The organiser's ticket page lists the standard Schloss Schwetzingen admission for visitors: EUR 9.00 for adults plus a EUR 2.00 system fee, EUR 4.50 reduced and EUR 22.50 for families, with children under 6 free. That makes this one of the more accessible top-level concours in Europe.
