The ADAC Hockenheim Historic - Das Jim Clark Revival is the traditional season opener for historic racing at the Hockenheimring, and its 22nd edition is scheduled for 7-9 May 2027. The meeting honours two-time Formula 1 world champion Jim Clark, who was killed at Hockenheim on 7 April 1968 in the first Formula 2 race of the Martini Gold Cup. It is organised by Hockenheim-Ring GmbH with the ADAC as title patron.
The racing covers historic touring cars, sports prototypes and formula cars. In 2026 the 21st edition (8-10 May) had more than 500 participants in twelve race series, and the organisers counted around 46,000 visitors over three days. That was up from around 45,000 in 2025.
Off the track, the meeting traditionally offers an open paddock, an ADAC Erlebniswelt with a large brand-club area, autograph sessions, exhibitions and trade and catering stands. In 2026 the organisers also ran a cross-promotion with the Technik-Museum Speyer, giving a discount to holders of either ticket. Pricing has deliberately been family-friendly. Day tickets include grandstand seating and paddock access, and children under 14 get in free.
2027 tickets are already on sale. A camping price list for area C3 has been published, which is useful for fans planning a full weekend at the circuit.
Since 2026 the meeting has been titled ADAC Hockenheim Historic - Das Jim Clark Revival, and it reaches its 22nd edition in 2027. It commemorates Jim Clark, killed at the Hockenheimring on 7 April 1968.
