Motor Passion Avignon 2027, Parc des Expositions d'Avignon

Motor Passion is Provence's big spring gathering for collector and prestige vehicles, and the 2027 edition runs from 26 to 28 March at the Parc des Expositions in Avignon.

The 2026 edition, the 22nd, was held from 20 to 22 March. The organiser reports more than 34,000 visitors, more than 2,000 vehicles, 400 exhibitors, around a hundred clubs and 80,000 m² of exhibition space. The breadth is part of the appeal: cars sit alongside motorcycles, tractors, trucks, military and utility vehicles and scale models, and professionals sell both vehicles and spare parts.

Themed exhibitions give each year its character. In 2026 the show focused on the Nationale 7, the Route du Soleil from Paris to Menton, and the Musée National de l'Automobile in Mulhouse lent a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce. English luxury cars are a recurring feature. Past editions have included a tribute to the Nougier brothers' racing motorcycles and a hall of youngtimers in 2022.

Practical arrangements suit visitors who arrive in a classic. In 2026 the show opened from 09:00 to 19:00, closing at 18:00 on Sunday. Visitor parking is free, and a car park inside the Parc Expo is reserved for classic and prestige vehicles, subject to space, for drivers and passengers holding entry tickets, with access signposted via the Courtepaille roundabout to the north of the site. The free Agroparc park-and-ride is another option.

By train, Avignon TGV station is 2 hours 40 minutes from Paris, and the shuttle train known as La Virgule links it with Avignon Centre in four minutes. The 2027 programme and ticket prices had not been published at the time of writing.
