BRDC Classic 2027 at Silverstone

Friday, July 23, 2027 - Sunday, July 25, 2027

🇬🇧Silverstone Circuit • Silverstone, United Kingdom

Let us know you're coming

The BRDC Classic returns to Silverstone Circuit on 23-25 July 2027 for its second edition. Silverstone created the event with the British Racing Drivers' Club, and it first ran on 24-26 July 2026. It took the place of the August historic festival previously held at the circuit, and Historic Motor Racing News reported that Motor Racing Legends took on the lion's share of the track time.

Silverstone's preview for 2027 promises historic Formula 1 cars from the sport's "golden eras", touring cars from the category's greatest periods, Le Mans-inspired endurance machinery and a GT3 Legends grid for the GT cars of the 2000s and 2010s. Motor Racing Legends lists the BRDC Classic among its 2027 headline meetings. The 2026 timetable shows the depth of the programme. Saturday opened with Historic Formula Junior and MRL Pre-War Sports Cars races. Sunday included HRDC Top Hat Pre-'66 Touring Cars and the Historic Sports Car Club Derek Bell Trophy. Historic kart demonstrations ran at Kart Silverstone, and Iconic Auctioneers held a viewing in The Wing. Motor Racing Legends reported that its Silverstone meeting drew more than 300 cars, as did its events at Donington and Brands Hatch.

The BRDC's involvement matters to enthusiasts. The club owns Silverstone, and its members include many of the drivers whose cars now race in historic series. The event also includes family entertainment beyond the track, and camping is available.

Early bird pricing for 2027 ends on Monday 4 January 2027. The meeting falls three weeks after the British Grand Prix (1-4 July 2027) and in the same summer as Goodwood's Festival of Speed (15-18 July 2027), so July 2027 is a busy month for travelling historic-racing fans. Full grids and the timetable will be published closer to the event.

  • Historic Formula 1 cars from multiple eras
  • Touring car grids including HRDC Top Hat Pre-'66
