The 29th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique runs from 27 January to 3 February 2027, organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco. Barcelona is one of four start cities, alongside Bad Homburg, Monte-Carlo and Reims. Scrutineering is on Wednesday 27 January and the start on Thursday 28 January. News d'Anciennes reports that around 60 cars are expected to leave Barcelona from 14:30.
The event is open to models that competed in the Monte-Carlo Rally between 1911 and 1986. The regularity stages run on closed roads. After the concentration run, crews head for Pont-de-l'Isère and 15 regularity stages through the Vercors, Ardèche, Drôme, Hautes-Alpes and the Nice hinterland. The first cars are due at Port Hercule in Monaco from 19:50 on Tuesday 2 February, with the gala prize-giving on 3 February.
In 2026, the 28th edition, 244 crews started from Bad Homburg, Monaco, Barcelona, Turin and Reims on 1 February.
The historic rally has been held since 1998, and 2027 is its 29th edition. In 2026, 244 crews took the start.
Barcelona start on 28 January 2027, from 14:30 (expected). The exact venue had not been published (the 2026 start was on Avinguda de la Catedral, according to our notes). Watching the start is free.
