Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille is not expected to take place in 2027. Created by Peter Auto with the watchmaker Richard Mille in 2014, the concours moved from an annual to a biennial rhythm after the Covid period, as L'argus noted ahead of the 2026 event. The most recent edition was held on Sunday 13 September 2026 in the grounds of the Château de Chantilly, and at the time of writing neither the official site nor Peter Auto had announced a date for the next one.
The format explains why collectors wait for it. On a single Sunday the Le Nôtre gardens host the Concours d'État for historic cars, a Concours d'Élégance combining concept cars and haute couture, and the Grand Prix des Clubs, with the estate open from 09:00 to 18:30 in 2026. L'argus counted more than 900 cars expected for 2026, and Love for Porsche reported a record turnout in the club area that year.
In 2024, the seventh edition, Octane reported that 'some 28,000 people attended' and counted 900 classics on site from 40 clubs, with Best of Show awards for a 1928 Bugatti T35C (pre-war) and a 1949 Talbot-Lago T26 GS Coupé (post-war). It was also the first edition under Peter Auto managing director Marc Ouayoun, who took over from founder Patrick Peter.
Treat any 2027 listing for this event with caution. On the biennial pattern the next edition would fall in 2028, subject to confirmation by Peter Auto.
