Wheels Mariënwaerdt and its International Concours d'Elegance are expected to return to Landgoed Mariënwaerdt near Beesd in September 2027. The organiser signed off the 2026 event with graag tot 2027 (see you in 2027), but dates had not been announced at the time of writing. Our listing of 10 to 12 September 2027 is a projection based on the September pattern of recent years.
The concours has a long Dutch pedigree. It has been held since 1999, first at Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn and from 2019 at Paleis Soestdijk, where it was later renamed Wheels at the Palace, before moving to the Mariënwaerdt estate, which offered room to grow. An international jury judges cars on the main field for authenticity, condition and presentation, and the organiser describes the format as an inspection rather than an exhibition, with owners on hand to answer questions.
The 2026 edition, from 11 to 13 September, showed the breadth of the weekend. Concours classes celebrated 120 years of Lancia, the centenary of Route 66 and the Porsche 356. Best of Show went to a 1948 Delage D6 bodied by the Hague coachbuilder Pennock, which also won its class, while Lancia collected five prizes in its anniversary year. A first Youngtimer Concours was won by a 1986 Audi 100 1.8 CD from a field ranging from a Daihatsu Charade to an Alpina B12 5.7, and the KNAC Club Collection awarded prizes per club. Supercars, hypercars and concept cars represent the present and future of the car alongside the classics.
In 2026 the concours field was open from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, with the award ceremony at 16:00 on Sunday. Tickets cost from €29.50 online or €32.50 at the gate. Prices and the programme for 2027 are still to be announced.
The Concours d'Elegance has been held in the Netherlands since 1999, at Paleis Het Loo, then at Paleis Soestdijk from 2019, before moving to Landgoed Mariënwaerdt. The event is run by Classics at the Palace B.V., trading as Wheels Events.
